Interiors that don't sag.
Headliner, carpet, seat belt and trim work done in-house — plus the same foam-backed fabric, molded carpet and pillar covers over the counter if you would rather do it yourself.
What we do
Most interiors need two of the three. Send photos and we will tell you which, and whether it is a repair or a replacement.
Roof down
Board out, old foam scraped back to bare fiberglass, new foam-backed fabric laid with high-temp adhesive so it does not drop again in July. Pillars and visors re-wrapped to match.
Floor up
Molded carpet fitted to the pan, or cut pile laid and bound by hand where no mold exists. Old jute out, mass-loaded vinyl in if you want the road noise gone with it.
Seats and safety
Blown bolsters rebuilt, split seams re-sewn on the original thread lines, belts re-webbed to factory length in the colour you want. Retractors rebuilt, not replaced with junkyard guesses.
Our capabilities
The Werks Automotive
The single most common interior failure, and the one most people try to glue back up first.
Board stripped, scraped to bare substrate, re-covered in foam-backed fabric with high-temp adhesive. 2 to 3 days.
Openings cut and wrapped clean so the trim rings seat flush without bunching.
Re-covered in the same run of fabric so nothing reads as a patch.
New fiberglass substrate when the original is warped, water-damaged or cracked past saving.
The Werks Automotive
Seats and console out, everything under the carpet inspected before anything new goes down.
Heat-molded to the floor pan with jute pad attached. Fitted, trimmed and heel-padded.
For cars with no mold available. Laid, cut and bound by hand, including trunks and hatches.
Mass-loaded vinyl and closed-cell foam under the carpet while the floor is open.
Wheel wells, spare tire covers and load floors re-covered to match.
The Werks Automotive
Original hardware, new webbing. We do not sell replacement belts of unknown origin.
New webbing meeting FMVSS 209, cut to factory length, in your choice of colour.
Cleaned, re-greased and spring-tensioned so the belt pulls back properly.
Belts that took a load and pretensioners that fired get replaced, not re-webbed.
Cracked boots, sticky release buttons and worn stalk covers.
The Werks Automotive
Rebuild what collapsed before re-covering it, or the new cover will sit wrong within a month.
The driver side outer bolster, rebuilt with new foam and re-skinned in matching material.
Split seams re-sewn on the original thread lines rather than patched over.
High-density foam, hog rings and listing wire where the cushion has gone flat.
Cut from your pattern or ours, with perforation, French seams or contrast stitch.
The Werks Automotive
Door cards, pillars, sail panels and consoles. Substrate repaired properly, not glued back together.
Insert or full-panel re-covering in vinyl, suede or cloth.
A, B and C pillars wrapped to match the headliner so the roofline reads as one piece.
Cracked backing and stripped clip towers repaired or replaced.
Lids, armrests and shift boots re-covered or re-stitched.
The Werks Automotive
Full tops, rear windows, and the frame hardware that decides whether either one lasts.
Canvas or vinyl, fitted and tensioned on the original frame.
Hazed or split windows cut out and a new one stitched into an otherwise good top.
Worn pads replaced and tension set so the top does not chafe itself.
Re-covered or replaced to match the new top.

Driver bolster rebuilt in matching extended Merino, belts re-webbed in red to factory length.
Help
Questions we get daily
Yes, that is half of what we sell. Order the foam-backed yardage and high-temp adhesive, measure your board corner to corner at its widest points, then add six inches each way. Most sedans take 2 yards, SUVs and long-roof cars take 3.
The fabric is fine. The thin foam bonded to the back of it breaks down from heat and humidity and turns to dust, so nothing is holding the cloth to the board. Gluing the old fabric back up never lasts, because you are gluing to powder.
We re-web with material meeting FMVSS 209 and keep the original length and hardware, which is standard practice for restoration work. Belts loaded in a collision, and any pretensioner that has fired, get replaced rather than re-webbed.
Both work. Headliner boards, pillars, door cards, seat covers and belts are all mail-in jobs. Send them ground or freight with a note inside the box, and we photograph everything on arrival.
Usually. Send a daylight photo of the interior along with your trim code and we will mail swatches to compare before anything gets cut.
